

Our Client is on a mission to revolutionize how people buy tech by making refurbished devices more accessible, affordable, and sustainable. With prices up to 70% lower than new, their model helps reduce e-waste and extend product lifecycles. To support this vision, Studio Herrström and Vucko teamed up with Back Market’s in-house agency to reimagine the brand’s visual identity placing sustainability, circularity, and clarity at the heart of the design system.



To redesign Back Market’s visual identity in alignment with its mission to reduce e-waste and promote sustainable tech consumption. The goal was to create a cohesive and modern brand system that reflects the value of refurbished technology, enhances brand recognition, and communicates sustainability at every customer touchpoint both online and offline.
The refreshed visual identity successfully aligned Back Market’s brand presence with its mission of promoting sustainable tech consumption. Through close collaboration with the in-house creative team, we delivered a bold, flexible design system that elevated the perception of refurbished devices shifting the narrative from “second-hand” to “smart choice.”
The new identity introduced a dynamic visual language that balances eco conscious messaging with a confident, tech forward tone. Custom motion graphics, a streamlined typography system, and expressive layouts brought energy and clarity to every touchpoint. From digital ads and packaging to retail environments and social content.
By incorporating flexible templates and a scalable design system, Back Market’s internal teams are now equipped to produce cohesive, high impact content efficiently. The rebrand not only reinforced the company’s leadership in the refurbished tech space but also helped deepen consumer trust and engagement across global markets.
